Happy Mother's day to all our moms, moms-to-be, grandmas, nonnas, nanas, ggs, step-moms, aunts, big sisters and all that have been an integral part to shape us.
Through the scrapping of our knees, to taking us to practice or cheering us on at our games, to lending a shoulder to cry on or giving us that needed hug just because. If we haven’t said it lately, know how much we love you. If your time on earth is done, you are forever in our hearts this Mothers Day and every day that follows.
Psssst….It’s not too late!

FEMA
We had sent out a Public Service Announcement regarding Fema and it’s assistance with those who passed from Covid for Funeral Service cost reimbursement.
If you have experienced a loss or know someone who did, please let them know that there is help. We understand that this does not alleviate your grief, it does help with those funeral costs that you were not expecting.
There is a glimmer of hope that we are returning to a new normal. Remember that this pandemic is not over yet…be safe, continue to be vigilant with wearing a mask, washing hands often and practicing social
distancing.
Aging Well Month
Aging Well Month is Aging Care Connections’ month-long celebration of Older Americans Month in May. Last year, due to the pandemic, we were not able to host a kick off
or offer programs throughout May. This year, we are going virtual! Our Aging Well Month celebration will begin with a virtual Kick-Off and continue throughout May with virtual programs that are hosted by community organizations and businesses with an interest in the health and well-being of older adults. The programs and activities are engaging, educational, social and fun.
Kick-Off will be held via Zoom on May 3, 2021 from 1 to 2 pm, is FREE and ALL older adults are invited. Participants will have a chance to win various prizes throughout the kick-off--from Aging Care Connections' 50th Anniversary items to gift cards.
