The kids are starting back at school and the dog days of Summer are upon us. Please make sure you all keep hydrated. Coffee, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages don’t do the
trick…H2O is best.
The whole Hitzeman Family and Staff were out at the Brookfield Fourth of July Parade. We handed out 5000 Air Head Candies, which seemed to be a great hit for children of all ages.
Thank you for coming out to Music Under the Stars. We had a beautiful night of retro music with the Fenderskirts on Wednesday, July 10, 2019. We were delighted to co-sponsor the event. To add to the nostalgia we handed out over 200 Push-up Ice Cream Sherbet pops. It was so nice to hear our young at heart say, “Wow, I haven’t had this since I was a kid”.
Some of the toddlers however looked at it and said, ”How does it work?” ahhhh, memories.
Did you hear?
Since its debut, we have received over 400 Flags for retirement. We appreciate everyone that has donated their gently used flags.
If you have one that you would like to give, you may do so.
Just bring it by the funeral home. Stop by Hitzeman Funeral Home at 9445 West 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513 and we will gladly accept those flags.
Hitzeman Funeral Home hosted a special Child Craft experience. A special box was decorated to hold their treasures and special memories of those they have lost (Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunts, Uncles, Siblings or their pet turtle) All proceeds were donated to Buddy's Place.
