Juneteenth Holiday 6/20/2022

Hitzeman Funeral Home will be available by appointment only in observance of the new Holiday...Juneteenth on Monday June 20, 2022.

Juneteenth is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating emancipation of enslaved African Americans. It is also often observed for celebrating African-American culture. Let us continue to grow and treat each other with kindness and respect.

Reminder all Federal and State offices will be closed.

National Night Out!

On Saturday, July 30, 2022

Noon – 9:00 p.m.

an in-person event with entertainment, food, and attractions will take place

at Memorial Park.

On Sunday, July 31, 2022

the Police Department will host a charity golf outing at Flagg Creek benefiting Special Olympics and National Night Out.

And finally, on Tuesday, August 2, a Public Safety/Neighbor Appreciation Parade will travel the streets of La Grange Park.
